Here’s some reading material for you – all links I read and loved from this past week:
- Wise Bread hosted a Tweetchat about frugal lifestyle – and I ended up winning a gift certificate! I’m still excited!
- Budgeting In The Fun Stuff is having an epic blogoversary giveaway!
- Get Rich Slowly wrote about 5 easy ways to save money – I might start doing the 5 dollar bill idea.
- Jessie’s Money and Jordan’s Too posted a chat transcript that saved them money on their internet/cable bill. Great tactic and easy too!
- So Over Debt gave a great alternative to home security systems. I’m bookmarking this for later!
- Money Smart Life described his experience selling a car on Craigslist and made me believe that I could do it too.
- Centsible Life had a unique idea when budgeting for her kid’s birthday party.
- The Penny Hoarder introduced this site called SaveUp where you can play “lottery” games just for saving money and paying down debt. You better believe I signed up right away!

/ February 24, 2012Thanks for mentioning my post on selling our car on Craigslist!
I’m glad it made you feel more comfortable with the process, that was my whole goal. Like I said in the post, it was a little apprehensive but in hindsight it was more than worth the time it took. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
