I’m a mid-20s, female, software engineer living in Los Angeles interested in personal finance because of the PF blogging community. I’ll be adding info as I go – here’s some to start:
1) Check out my current financial snapshot.
2) My personal finance bucket list
- Figure out what to do with my Fidelity account
- Max out my Roth IRA (at least one year to get it started – I plan to continue that afterwards)
- Figure out how to invest(?) a Roth IRA
- Have an emergency fund of 6 months living expenses (about $22,000)
- Pay off my student loans (this might take awhile…)
- Buy my dream house with at least 20% down
- Get a promotion
- Make an annual salary of 6 figures – at least $100,000
- Travel somewhere other than Mexico
